Help-Portrait Is… | Manassas Portrait Photographer

Saw this video published at lunch and couldn’t wait to post it! The video turned out great, and Help-Portrait is such a wonderful message. I’m in the green sweatshirt at the beginning, right after the lady that says it’s “Awesome!” Shot my part with a Nikon D300sand Nikon 50mm f/1.8D.

Enjoy!

  • Nice to see you on the video! The HelpPortrait session we did became even more meaningful when I found out yesterday that one of the people we photographed had just died unexpectedly (well, as unexpected as it could be for someone in a nursing home), and the portrait will be used for the memorial service. [I think that one of the main reasons I wanted to do HelpPortrait is that I know how photos can help - while it is often too painful for me to look at, I'm still extremely grateful that my daughter's college sent us a great professional photo of her after she died].
  • Victoria,

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter, I didn't know she had passed away. I bet this was an important project for you to work on, and am glad you were able to be a part of it! I look forward to seeing you again sometime to hear more :-)
