The HelpPortrait session we did became even more meaningful when I found out yesterday that one of the people we photographed had just died unexpectedly (well, as unexpected as it could be for someone in a nursing home), and the portrait will be used for the memorial service. [I think that one of the main reasons I wanted to do HelpPortrait is that I know how photos can help - while it is often too painful for me to look at, I'm still extremely grateful that my daughter's college sent us a great professional photo of her after she died]. The HelpPortrait session we did became even more meaningful when I found out yesterday that one of the people we photographed had just died unexpectedly (well, as unexpected as it could be for someone in a nursing home), and the portrait will be used for the memorial service.
