Thanks to many of you, I won the Washingtonian Magazine November Photo Contest that I mentioned in a previous post. I am very excited about this, and can’t wait to pick up the January 2010 issue where the image will be published. I thought several of the images would give me a run but seems everyone liked mine. I’m flattered at the votes, and to think that shot may not have been entered (I really liked the cannon shot!) if they could only take one, but I was convinced by my lovely and supportive wife that this was the one to use. She was right! Tomorrow I have a phone interview with the magazine for a brief write up to go along with the photo. I can’t wait!
